Today something for our Polish-speaking readers: an article about The Choice by a great magazine, Girls Room.

I am a huge fan of this magazine, they are doing an amazing job with their approach to feminism and our sexuality. They are brave and tasteful, and their mission is to make the world more inclusive and open.

I wish you all could read what they share! I guess you all have to start learning Polish.

Thank you for the article, Paulina Klepacz, and thank you for connecting us, Piotr Dobry!

We have amazing news! The Choice has been invited to showcase at Women of Spatial: A Creative Tech and Startup Summit.

In honor of Women’s Equality Day, Verizon 5G Lab and the WXR Fund in partnership with Kaleidoscope and Darragh Dandurand are hosting an interactive, immersive celebration. Join women from across the XR space for an opportunity to connect, learn, and discover new opportunities at this virtual event. The core audience is startup founders, creators, corporate partners, investors, and allies who support building a more inclusive ecosystem.

The agenda will include a Creator Showcase of projects submitted to the Femme Futures Grant and exhibits from a variety of consumer and enterprise women-led startups. Attendees will have the chance to meet featured creators and entrepreneurs directly as well as network with fellow attendees in topical conversations. We have truly wonderful news! The Choice has been invited to showcase at the Games For Change Festival. Their goal is to empower game creators and social innovators to drive real-world impact through games and immersive media. Perfect fit for us!

Due to the pandemic, the 2020 event is happening online.

We will have our own virtual booth and it will run from Jul 14, 9:30AM to Jul 16, 8:00PM EDT.

Here is a link with the full schedule:

This year’s schedule for the conference features people like Jaron Lanier, one of the pioneers of Virtual Reality, or Asad Malik, Terminal 3 creator - one of the most powerful XR experiences that we know.

If you want to take part, the event is free for everyone. There are many events out there currently and it is hard to decide which one to participate in. At the Games for Change Festival you can find something that is so close to our hearts: using tech to create an actual impact.

And here is Festival's website:

Hope to see some of you there!
